Bita Safari is an Iranian-American philanthropist and entrepreneur.
She is the founder of GIGO Clean Technology. She has lived in California since 1995.  Bita is a chemical engineer, but her career has been much more widespread as she built herself a professional path in the corporate world.
Safari, now a successful entrepreneur comes from truly humble beginnings.  She and her family emigrated from war-torn Iran during the revolution and is now living the American dream.
“I look at the GIGO Clean app as an achievement for myself as something that I started from a very basic and small idea to an APP that it’s available for everyone to download,” says Safari.
As a member of advisory board at Moms Against Poverty, Bita has donated her time as an active volunteer to support children in poverty around the globe. She is passionate about giving back to her community and truly believes fighting global child poverty is a colossal undertaking but if we work together, we can make a difference. She also believes fighting against cultural poverty is as difficult as financial poverty. For that reason, she is an advocate and supporter of education for all.
As the world travels, she loves to learn about different cultures, loves fine dining, architect, and music.
In sport, she is a big fan of boxing. “Boxing reminds me of my life and my entrepreneurship.” I Attending a Boxing match requires both mental and physical preparation. Athletes must spend hours in training. When they enter the ring, they know they will be bitten up and if they fail, they only have a few seconds to stand up. Yet, they will enter.
 That has been the story of my life and carrier. I don’t know how many times I have been bitten up, or how bad I failed. But I know for fact that I did not have a long time to stand up, to put myself together and keep going.”  Safari said.
After all, she is a caring and loving mother who loves and values her daughter and husband more than anything else in the world.

I believe returning to society is important because it aligns with the principles of social responsibility, helps address inequalities, builds communities, creates positive impacts, fosters personal fulfillment, inspires others, promotes long-term sustainability, enhances reputation, and contributes to addressing global challenges. It's a way to make a meaningful and positive impact on the world around us. I believe many global challenges, such as environmental issues and public health crises, require collective efforts. Giving back to society contributes to the broader efforts to address these challenges and create a better world for everyone. Contributing to society fosters a sense of community and unity. It brings people together for a common cause and strengthens social bonds. This not only benefits those who receive support but also creates a more cohesive and caring society overall.
